D.L. Brown is the founder of Probable Cause Investigations, LLC with a strong background in Forensics. She began her academic journey at Griffin Technical College by earning an Associate degree in Forensic Science and a second Associate degree in Criminal Justice. Shortly after, she began her career as a Crime Scene Investigator for the City of Atlanta. During this time she discovered her passion for investigations and she went on to pursue her Bachelor’s in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Indiana State University. While enrolled she worked as a Code Officer for the Clayton County Police department in Jonesboro, Georgia and was later recognized as Officer of the Year in 2016. She also worked as a Detention Specialist for the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office in Marietta, Georgia.

After completing her undergraduate studies, she attended Stevenson University and earned a Master’s degree in Forensic Studies. This program enabled her to gain invaluable knowledge and experience in Forensic and Death Investigations. In 2020, she earned a Certificate in Basic Death Investigations for the Private Investigator from the Associates of Forensic Investigations. She also earned a Certificate in Forensic Genetic Genealogy from the University of New Haven in 2023. Her past education and work experience has allowed her to embrace her passion as a Private Investigator.

She also takes a meticulous and thorough approach to each investigation, using proven investigative methods to gather evidence and piece together the facts.
